The stay was pleasant, primarily due to the super comfy bed and the tidy decor, which made for a cozy night in. The village atmosphere was charming, with a friendly local pub right on site. I did notice the limited vegetarian dining options, which could be improved. it was a nice experience, especially for a quick getaway.

staying here was such a delight, the relaxed atmosphere made me feel at home and the variety of nearby walks really heightened my experience, especially the charming Blisland to Lavethan Wood Circular Walk, just under 5 km away.

Nestled in a charming village, this stay was a delightful surprise! Upon arrival, we were promptly accommodated despite the rain, receiving a warm welcome. Our well-appointed, clean room offered a remarkable shower experience. The dining was top-notch, especially breakfast. Truly, it was a hidden gem with friendly service all around!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Even though I arrived during busy dinner service they welcomed me and showed me to my room. The rooms were excellent, well presented, very clean and smart and a brilliant shower.

We had a wonderful time in this picturesque village, where the cozy, rustic decor truly set the ambiance for a relaxing getaway. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to ensure our needs were met, from the delicious meals to the comfortable room that provided a peaceful night’s sleep. It's a dog-friendly place, which was an added bonus for us. I wish there had been more variety in the room amenities for a longer stay.
